Yeah A-Rod

ST. PETERSBURG -- Alex Rodriguez may be digging in on Tuesday against the Rays at Tropicana Field, but every time he sets foot on a Major League diamond these days, he's also coming to the plate against some of baseball's greatest legends.

Case in point, Rodriguez's first-inning home run on Monday off Tampa Bay right-hander Andy Sonnanstine, which rocketed through this domed structure and off into the history books. An otherwise unremarkable solo dinger tied A-Rod with Hall of Famers Ted Williams and Willie McCovey for 15th place on baseball's all-time home run list, giving the Yankees slugger 521 deep drives.
